Job Title: Packaging Assistant

Location: Paradox Brewery, 2781 US Rt. 9 North Hudson NY 

Terms: Full Time

Requirements: Flexible Schedule, Weekend Availability, Holiday Availability

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience

 

About the Role: 

Paradox Brewery is seeking a packaging assistant to work with our production team. This position requires no experience and will involve work in packaging as well as general brewery work.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Production Manager

  • Ensure the entire production area remains clean and organized.

  • Assist with packaging beer, preparing shipments, cleaning kegs, and cleaning brewery production areas

  • Ability to multi-task in a noisy, fast-paced, and distraction-filled environment.

  • Special projects as assigned by management

     

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be 21+ years old

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

  • Must be able to move 165 lbs.

  • Must be organized 

  • Must be willing to work as a team and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication 

  • Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to changes in schedule

  • Ability to work on your feet for several hours at a time
