Imperial Oatmeal Stout brewed with Cacao Nibs and Orange Zest
We’ve released our second round of bottles and this time we put a twist on our Dark Bay Stout. We started with our Imperial Oatmeal Stout and added Cacao Nibs and Orange Zest before bottle conditioning to the finish.
This beer gets cacao nibs and fresh orange zest in the boil and after fermentation. This is a big beer with the strong flavor and aroma of chocolate, subtle notes of coffee and a refreshing citrus twist. Coming in at 8% ABV this beer has a smooth mouth feel and is surprising drinkable. The chocolate notes are present up front and the citrus finish leaves you ready for another sip.
Dark Bay Stout Bottles are a limited release and will be available in the tasting room starting February 26 and shortly thereafter in select bottle shops until sold out.
