Job Title: Host/Hostess

Location: Paradox Brewery, 2781 US Rt. 9 North Hudson NY 

Terms: Full Time/Part Time

Requirements: Flexible Schedule, Weekend Availability, Holiday Availability

 Compensation: $12 - $14 per hour, Plus Tips depending on experience

About the Role: 

Paradox Brewery is looking for a reliable, friendly host/hostess in our busy tasting room in North Hudson NY. With duties that include welcoming and warmly greeting guests on arrival, assisting with bussing and clearing tables, as well as being fully educated on Paradox Brewery products, upcoming releases, and events.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and inform them about daily specials and products

  • Buss/clear tables 

  • Assist with to-go orders

  • Manage the flow of customers 

  • Work as a contributing team member and act in a professional and respectful manner at all times

  • Perform other related duties assigned by the management team

  • Report to the Tasting Room Manager

 

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be 18+ years old

  • Must be friendly and outgoing with strong customer service skills

  • Must be organized 

  • Must be willing to work as a team and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication 

  • Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to changes in schedule

  • Ability to work on your feet for several hours at a time
